Women in Wheelchairs
October 2, 2008 by support
Women in wheelchairs are able to go most anywhere with this invention. The wheelchair is often taken for granted. They provide mobility for those who are confined to them due to injuries, illnesses, and diseases. Some women in wheelchairs use a manual model and others prefer a motorized version. Both help them get around.
Women in wheelchairs have freedom to go most anywhere they desire today instead of resorting to being confined to a bed as they were in the past. Women in wheelchairs are able to work, take care of children, and enjoy social activities. The more independent women in wheelchairs are able to be, the happier they are. Who wants to be dependent on someone else to take care of all their needs?
Women in wheelchairs use them to get around in their home as well as all over town. You can find women in wheelchairs doing their grocery shopping or running errands. It is nice to be able to do them on your own instead of asking someone else to do it for you. Women in wheelchairs can also be found enjoying themselves at the mall, the movies, or a baseball game.
Some women in wheelchairs even travel the world. The invention of the wheelchair allows disabled individuals to travel anywhere, even internationally. All of the airlines, hotels, and museums are wheelchair accessible. There are even restrooms designed for a wheelchair to access. This is due to the laws in place requiring public places to offer such amenities.
